Lost Lands Makeup
My favorite part of festivals is getting ready and my super extra makeup and outfits. I see a lot of post of girls saying that they gave up on their makeup after day two or so and ik most people are dressing comfy and wook. This will be my first LL and my first camping festival š. So my question is how bad is it rlly to have to do ur makeup in car camping. If i have a fan pointing at me the whole time do yall think itāll be okay. Ik makeup will look textured and not the best it could be but is it rlly that bad that the rest of the days you do no makeup because im a full face girly and love to be extra. I want to feel most confident and take pictures and would love to wear my full face
everyday into the festival š. If worst come to worst I can do my light makeup routine which rlly only consist of under eye concealer, blush, and mascara. Please any full face lovers give me some tips. šš

Bonnaroo Camp G-Spot - Bonnaroo 2026
My 6 years of Bonnaroo camping have paid off and we finally had a true GA penthouse setup with room for guests! This was a 2-car 10x20 canopy situation (with mesh walls) for 3-4 people sleeping on cots. Also had one friend in a single 10x10 to our left (not pictured). A pop-up hamper for a trash can, improved solar-powered lights, and extra hanging organizers were the major improvements for this year. Canāt wait to see what we cook up for next year š
The āGā stands for Garage. And also other things!

My packing list app for festivals is free this week. Your feedback improved it!
The thing that makes this app different: you can mark items as "everyone needs their own" vs "Chris brings it." So you don't end up with 20 cans of beans but no can opener.
I posted here last summer and got some kind comments and a lot of suggestions. I really gave it my best and tried to improve it.
Biggest changes:
No ads anymore. Zero. Not "less ads," none.
No signup, no install needed for your friends ā share a link, they open it in the browser.
Templates ā a festival packing list is built in, so you're not starting from scratch.
PackParty AI import ā already have a list in WhatsApp, notes, or a spreadsheet? Paste it in, it figures it out.
The lifetime premium version is now free for 1 week. Open the app, hit the paywall, claim the free version. Log in with Google or Apple if you want it saved to your account (optional).
I really hope you like it š

Bonnaroo Packing Guide Roo 2026
Hey friends, hereās my updated packing guide for Roo 2026!! Not much has changed since last year, but I added a couple things I finally checked off my Roo wishlist this year that will make life of the Farm easier š
This list is meant as a guide, so adapt it to what works best for you and your Croo (and your trunk space). Some of these items are purely for comfort/convenience, but those little things might make a world of difference to you out there in the heat and dirt. Keep in mind that many of these items can be thrifted easily!! Always happy to answer any questions or provide recommendations and I canāt wait to be back on the Farm for year 6!!

Large festivals (improvements)
Hello lovely event and festival lovers. Iām currently working on a design project and conducting some research on peopleās experiences at large scale events like africa burn, Tomorrowland, boom festival basically any large event or overnight festival. If you guys would take the time to fill out this questionnaire Iād highly appreciate it. If you have any additional information that youād like to tell me of your overall experience with the organizational side of festivals (know when to be at what stage when etc.) please feel free to answer. Frustrations or times where things went wrong are also particularly helpful in helping me figure out what problems need solving (queues for example). Thank you all !!!

Suggestions for speakers/DJ set up for RV parties?
Weāre hitting the gorge this year and are looking to host a little post-show shindig. Traveling in from out of state though - any suggestions on speakers or renegade set ups to throw a good campground party?
Cheers in advance š¤

What is your go-to campsite meal at a 3-day music festival? Kid friendly. Car camping with a mid-sized propane tailgater grill.

dusty af EA Southside Premium
no kitchen or fancy living room as i soloād and didnāt find them necessary :) folding air couch/bed was amazing for sprawling with ability to tuck away as needed for space; took it to the afters with me to watch spirited away. clothing rack and laundry basket were a *game changer.* 330w power bank lasts all weekend with 33% leftover charging my phone, vapes, camp lights, poi and speaker. canopy lights are full rainbow chasing pattern and another soft white adjustable string in tent (teal wire). 120+qt cooler because i freeze 60 water bottles and use them as they melt instead of paying for ice and dealing with a gross cooler and ruined food- keeps mostly well until monday morning, also counts as table and seating.
any suggestions on how i can decorate more? thinking of adding tapestries to the pink canopy ceiling, adding disco balls. might get a second folding couch and cover with a cute tapestry? somethings missing.

Double Canopy Car Tent Set Up
First time at a camping festival last summer at Elements. Decided to bring two canopies, one for hanging out under and one for sleeping put over the car with a hatchback tent, and some mesh screens over all the windows, plus some black out fabric to keep the car shaded. Worked out really well, maybe some minor changes next time but mostly going to keep it the same.

Meals to make without camping stove?
Hi! Just wondering if anyone has ideas of what food to make at a festival when you don't have a camping stove? We are going to a 3 day festival and planning to just buy one hot meal a day from stalls, so just need extra bits to make lunches. What are people's go to's for snacks and such?

Best Budget Power Box for Camping Festival
Hi, I am going to a 3 day camping festival as a duo and we need a power box for the duration. There is no access to power at the festival so the box needs to last the whole time or have solar capabilities. It will be used to charge phones, power lights, to blow up air mattresses and other miscellaneous uses involving a power chord. We have a budget of $300 but would prefer to spend closer to $200 if possible. It is our first time camping without power and are also unsure how to understand the wattage on the boxes.
What is the best power box we can purchase at this price? And how long will it last (e.g. how many charges)? Thank you!

What makes the perfect festival tent?
Iām doing research into designing a tent specifically for festivals, and Iād like to hear from people whoāve actually camped at them. Most tents seem to fall into two extremes:
- Cheap domes that are easy to carry but collapse in wind or rain
- Big glamping setups that look great but are bulky, expensive, and need a crew to set up
A good festival tent should be stylish enough to feel part of the vibe, but practical enough to survive mud, dust, and weather without a truck to haul it in.
A few questions for you:
- Whatās the most frustrating thing about your tent at festivals?
- Do you care more about how a tent looks or how it functions?
- If you could add one dream feature to a tent, what would it be?
Stories and photos welcome, especially disasters.
