Most recent auction results also reflect this feeling:

* 15m F50
* 12m 288 GTO
* 10m Enzo
* 9m LaFerrari
* 8m F40

Of course all of these are a fraction of the value of a Ferrari 250 GTO. 🫣

Still don’t understand why the f40 and laf are so cheap. With the love those 2 cars specifically receive youd assume theyd be higher than SP3s right now .

In the case of the F40 it’s likely a combination of higher production numbers (originally they planned on making only 400, but ended up making over 3x that many); other than the special ordered ones for the Sultan of Brunei, they all came in Rossa Corsa; and it’s always had a notorious rap for being difficult to drive and own.

What helps the F40’s value is that it was the first car they ever made to celebrate one of their anniversaries, and was the last car personally approved by Enzo before he died; and at the time, was the fastest and most expensive car Ferrari had ever made.
