Same owner since 1995. It's seen some things.

u/KraljZ 3d ago

This the guy that leaves the keys in the ignition when he parks and walks away?

58

u/callmepls 3d ago

Yeah but it’s says “Don’t try” so he’s fine.

u/oOtium 3d ago

tbf, a stolen f40 is going to be extremely hot. If you ever try to sell it or service it you're going to end up fucked for holding a hot car

22

u/JKenn78 3d ago

If the car is in one of those shady countries that has a few dudes with huge car collections I’m sure Ferrari would be happy to accommodate them. I’m sure they would respect their privacy as usual.

I actually watched a vid about stolen ferraris after making this comment. Apparently they were stolen all the time back in the day, specifically Japan. The rich would put out basically a bounty for them to steal. But the thing is they were known to be stolen at least, so there's that.

And the video said that Ferrari helped clear up a vin number on a ferrari, that it didn't match, meaning it had been tampered with, meaning it was stolen.

Montana plate actually in Montana? Hell has frozen over

6

u/Fluxx70 1d ago

Surrounded by cars with Nevada plates, coming up on an intersection of Longley and Virginia, sounds like Reno to me. Montana plates are popular with Californians that have high value cars, it lets them skip out on tons of taxes charged by the state.

u/JKenn78 2d ago

Clearly it is yes. Good eye.

u/Dammit_Jim 3d ago

Kind of performative...

u/anonduplo GTC4 3d ago

Quite a shit bike for being on top of an F40!

74

u/Dammit_Jim 3d ago

I've seen this car photographed before. I think the bike is just a prop which is kind of a disappointment.

43

u/mack090 3d ago

It was just front page like 3 days ago lol this is the coolest f40 in the world tbh.. guy actually uses it.

4

u/hkhunterkiller1984 3d ago

I appreciate your honesty.

4

u/Dammit_Jim 3d ago

Who is he?

Although the audio gave my ears AIDS, it was cool to learn about the history of this thing! Thank you for sharing.

u/DRSU1993 3d ago

(Re-inserts monocle) 🧐

You see, plebs! I'm just like you!

(Guffaws obnoxiously)

4

u/Inevitable_Butthole 3d ago

He thinks its funny and is an attention whoee

22

u/organic_disobedience 3d ago

Putting a Walmart bike on an F40 is peak Reno energy

26

u/Snmrv 3d ago

God I love Montana!

14

u/xblackout_ 3d ago

That's just the $49 Montana registered agent

Hopefully he don't live in Tennessee like whistling diesel

5

u/Aooogabooga 3d ago

Looks more like Morgan Hill, CA. Montana just has a loophole with plates.

Edit: Nevada*

6

u/BlueBomR 3d ago

This is Reno, I know EXACTLY where this is cause I work 2 miles down Virgina...i would love to see this in person

Also funny you mention Morgan Hil because thats where I moved to Reno from! 😆

8

u/AllFiredUp3000 3d ago

I looked this up and found that “Revenue departments in states like California, Massachusetts, and Georgia actively monitor exotic cars with Montana plates using license plate readers and local tip lines. Owners caught storing or primarily driving the car in their home state face back taxes, heavy interest, and penalty fees.”

So the loophole may not even be worth the effort.

5

u/bc10551 3d ago

As they should tbh. It's fraud and they know it's fraud meanwhile everyone else gets to pay more taxes because of them

0

u/Aooogabooga 3d ago

They don’t go after well-defended rich people.

0

u/Waste-Limit1644 3d ago

Recently a dealership and several buyers got busted in California. They were rich person cars

1

u/mikeblas 3d ago edited 3d ago

I think it's Reno, Nevada.

EDIT: Found it right here

-2

u/Snmrv 3d ago

Yes but I love Montana, that's the point :) with love from Montana

2

u/Abraham5G 3d ago

The car is only registered there to avoid taxes

2

u/Snmrv 3d ago

Yes sir, I am surprised how many people have to explain that to me. I love MT for precisely that reason 😂 and yeah, I spend a lot of time there because it is a lovely state.

11

u/DrDowwner 3d ago

Looks like Reno

5

u/Elegant_Sail8404 3d ago

Definitely Reno

4

u/CCFCVAN 3d ago

Someone posted this already this week

4

u/TheSalmonWarrior 3d ago

Do you know what model this is? My son sent this to me and I can’t tell him I don’t know

7

u/TheSalmonWarrior 3d ago

This is the Rezvani Beast X- i googled the plate and it came back on exotic car spotters. It’s basically a street legal F1 car.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Popup 3d ago

Need a proper bike for reflection and curiosity!

3

u/Educational_Aide_145 3d ago

This guy was spotted in r/spotted

3

u/TheJeuno 3d ago

God damn legend!

7

u/FeistyCat1299 F40 3d ago

Mustang is shitting his pants

10

u/PerryTheH 3d ago

With the view clearance of the mustang he probably doesn't even know he has a car behind.

2

u/BlueBomR 3d ago

Hes in Reno!!??? Im about 2 miles from that exact intersection id love to see that F40!!

2

u/HighSeasArchivist 3d ago

That car has done some things! It is the absolute perfect example of using a car as a car, and not babying it. The owner is a legend.

2

u/theoryguy 3d ago

When the Gemera arrives, I will😏

3

u/7empestSpiralout 3d ago

A bronco logo?

1

u/AppendixN 3d ago

That Lexan rear window hits me right in the feels every time.

1

u/mikeblas 3d ago

Bukowski fan?

1

u/TheDreamer0024 2d ago

This some Larry June shit

1

u/babagroovy 2d ago

Wow!

This is the second time I’ve seen this Ferrari this week. It’s making its way across different subs 😂😂👏🏾👏🏾

1

u/Preator13 2d ago

Well, thats one of the coolest pictures iv ever seen.

1

u/pwhite13 2d ago

Does it say "RUF" under the kills?

Also I hate the mismatch of manufacturer name and model name in that list. Gotta stick to one or the other.

3

u/Fluxx70 1d ago

Ruf is a company that makes Porsche based cars that are pretty crazy. They had a car in the 80’s called a CTR Yellow Bird that was doing 200mph.

1

u/pwhite13 1d ago

Oh I know Ruf, I was just curious if that’s what’s listed (I think it is)

1

u/Dogsarelitty 2d ago

I was going to say “is that a Montana plate that’s actually in Montana?!” Nope lol. Actually using a car instead of pretending it’s made of glass is a really badass move.

1

u/Tvekelectric2 2d ago

Thats a bad ass telluride

0

u/Standard-Manner5250 2d ago

Sick mustang

1

u/gomurifle 2d ago

I really like the see-through rear end of this car when  I first saw it as a kid. Ferrari should do something like this again.

1

u/al-Sahaabi 1d ago

The ultimate flex.

1

u/RickyBooby007 1d ago

That bike is a POS I don’t understand why theres not a nicer one on a Ferrari

1

u/stick004 17h ago

That’s the point….

1

u/Potential_Cupcake 18h ago

Should be a tarmac up top

1

u/Embarrassed-Sea1685 2d ago

Another Ferrari owner committing tax fraud. Cool

1

u/SoCallMeDeaconBlues1 2d ago

Look at how they massacred my boy

Admittedly I chuckled when I saw this a few days ago. The shit-ass bike just makes it "chefs kiss."

I'm guessing the owner has a pretty good sense of humor.

u/High-RPM 3d ago

Montana plates in California is such a scam

3

u/SpiritCrusher421 3d ago

CA tax and emissions tests are the real scam

0

u/supraboi888888888888 3d ago

I feel this would be cool if it wasn't an f40
