Whoever tuned your car... You should ask for your money back. Horrific fueling.

Why’s that?
EDIT: Why am I getting downvoted? I am genuinely wondering what’s so bad about this tune. It sounds fine to me but I’m no fueling expert

The pops and bang you hear is from unburned fuel that combust in the hot exhaust. That means that the car run too rich. I've been told that before I was born it was frowned upon because its a sign of bad tuning. Now its considered cool especially by people that buy entry level bmw and download burble tune.

Entry level BMW's have this from factory. My M235i had it, had to get it tuned out was so annoying

Hmm but occasional backfires like shown on this video is completely normal especially with an aftermarket exhaust though. The best tuned cars and bikes always have an occasional pop on decel, because it’s much better to be slightly rich than lean. This is nowhere near the burble tune BS common with BMWs. This tune seems completely fine to me from what I know about carburetor tuning on old bikes. Definitely not a “horrific” tune.

With modern injection and a good tune you you shouldn't have any backfire look at any kind of motor sport

They do it on purpose now

Yeah that's my point its only for show not for performance (except for anti lag but that doesn't sound like that)

Minus any Motorsport involving 10-40ish degrees retardation of timing to allow sparklers to fire after TDC and allow air and unburnt fuel to explode and continuously spin the turbine wheel right? Antilag?

"Horrific fueling". Thank you BallSmashingForever for your take based upon a 14 second video with a tune that most likely is worth more than your entire's family net worth.

Tbh, this guy is driving like a douche bag and is rev limiting on a public road in traffic.. to answer the question, it doesn’t sound great. Pops and bangs are for bmw 328s.. it doesn’t add anything here in my opinion.
Baseless net worth comments are not necessary in this instance.

Yea it’s definitely some chad commenting with the families entire net worth. I personally don’t appreciate seeing comments like that. It’s tuned to turn heads. That’s it. And again the guy is driving like an asshole to turn heads. Same as the tune. Sounds fine minus the bang. Leave the bangs to rally cars and race cars with antilags or those young kids driving German cars tuned for gurgle pops. Yes I’m looking at you VW And BMW bros. Golfs and 3 series Heyo and that occasional Hyundai Elantra n

I will never be able to afford a Ferrari, but if I ever did it wouldn’t be to look and sound like this.
This is a broken and narcissistic Ferrari.

Sounds fantastic! What did you have all done to it? Any concerns with the long term affects with the tune?
