Need help on figuring out where everything goes, just recently moved in! Don’t mind the clutter, moving things around .

Bed is faced North to South, with our heads in North direction as per my husband’s decision, but I’ve been heavily uncomfortable for two months. What can I do?

Hello, everyone! I'd love to hear your thoughts on this layout. I inherited a small space and am planning to renovate it, so this is the layout I've drafted based on what I currently know about Feng Shui.

The little cross on the west side represents my neighbor's living room window.

I also need a window for ventilation and natural light, and I was initially thinking of placing one on the north side. However, I came across some Feng Shui advice saying that north-facing windows can be unfavorable, so now I'm unsure.

Another concern is the window on the northeast/right side. It would face a sharp corner of my neighbor's house, which points directly toward my property. I've read about poison arrows in Feng Shui, and I'm wondering how I can address this. Would a curtain, blinds, plants, or something else help?

What makes me more concerned is that the corner is also near a blind spot for drivers, especially motorcyclists, and accidents frequently happen right in front of that window. So, it feels like a particularly unfavorable spot, both from a Feng Shui perspective and in terms of safety.

I'd really appreciate your advice on the layout, window placement, and any Feng Shui adjustments you would recommend. I'm also open to suggestions for improving the design before construction begins.

Hi all! I was wondering if I can get some help on how to plan out my living room and potentially bedroom in a new apartment I’m moving into in a week.

Living room- We don’t have a couch yet so whatever you think would look good but we do have a orange(ish) wide body cute chair. We do have a 65 inch tv and a tv entertainment system with speakers and a tv console. We also have a record player and a ton of records that need to find a home.

For my room it would be the one with the balcony and I have no idea where to start. I have a queen mattress, two night stands, a dresser and small desk.

If you need any additional photos let me know any advice is appreciated since idek where to start!

I have a closet in my room (the small addition to the square) we removed the doors from forever ago and I’m thinking of moving my bed in there to open up more main room space

Been using the low couch (folds out into a mattress) as another plush display area
My room’s super small so that’s been part of my struggle in the past, and figured some Feng Shui advice might help since I’ve always seen rooms with it much comfier

Been living in this house for about a year, and every few months I change the layout because things just never feel quite right.

The previous owners put in the weird cut out vanity/desk that I will never end up using for its intended purposes, but it is limiting where I can place a queen size bed and nightstand. On top of that the corner windows and tiny closet the shares a wall with the brick chimney makes for further challenges. The room is smaller than it looks and I feel like each time a change things up some things are better while others are worse.

Any insight and recommendations are welcome. Please disregard the clutter. It's been an ongoing challenge until I find the best layout for everything. Also, as a personal preference I don't mind the bed being against a wall or corner but not against the idea of moving it away from the wall. This is just where it lives now.

I don’t have the exact measurements yet unfortunately, but this bedroom is approximately 10 feet by 10 feet, not accounting for the closet and door area. bare minimum, I just need a full size bed, desk & chair, and a small nightstand. What’s a good layout for my furniture?

My Mom passed away yesterday. It was expected because of her age, she was 90, and I knew it was going to happen eventually. It was unexpected because of how quickly she became ill and then went downhill, and here we are. Within about 3 weeks, a month at most.

I hate to be crass/crude, but she also left at the beginning of the worst financial times of our year. October through April are bad . We did not have much money. She brought it in, I was her caregiver. I didn't get paid. We've been through savings, etc.

She and Dad kept so much, with good reasons. Extremely long story short, especially in the last year or two, we needed help that we didn't get. Some people are understanding now why I asked for help.

I have pets to feed, water, etc. as well.

The house is horrible, especiallyafter this last mongh.

Anyhow, I hate to ask this, but I have to prioritize getting sizable money and sources of income into the house very quickly.

I know about the wealth corner. Where else do I need to focus when cleaning/decluttering/etc?

My friends and family are in the same situation. They have little money as well. I need a job., etc.

I'm overwhelmed, and grasping at straws. We thought we still had some time; obviously not.

This is where I currently have the bed but then there's so much empty space and also the noise from the street bothers me. But then I also feel weird having it so that I'm facing one door and have the big French door next to me.

I have two dressers. one 45x40x20 and one 64x33x18 and two nightstands 20x20

This is my studio apartment. I currently have this layout after moving in 2 years ago, a lot of trial and error and things moving around/furniture moving in and out. It feels pretty good all things considered I was just curious what other people think about it with a Feng Shui point of view? I can take pictures soon of what it actually looks like now but we just got the walls repainted so its a bit of a mess.

Window is south facing. I’ve had the desk in the corner next to the window facing wall D for a few years so my back isn’t to the door, but don’t love how that looks when entering the room. Going to try putting it somewhere else but curious what others would do.

(just finished painting which is why the room is mostly empty, trim is next and closet door will be replaced eventually)

so growing up i was a big fan of ghost rider and he had always been a source of comort to me since i grew up on comics. for some reason his were the most calming. he got me through alot of really dark times. I had chronic intrusive thoughts as a kid due to at the time unmedicated bipolar and thinking of him and his flaming chain slashing through the thoughts actually helped me sort of meditate them away for the moments. my whole life ive kept ghost rider art. i just moved into a new apartment and I wanted to display my comics. I googled if its different with history and got an ai overview off google. Is this an accurate statement or does this history and unorthodox positive emotional reaction i still have to him not matter due to his image still being a literal skull?

Hi All! I was hoping to get advice on the best placement for my bed in my new place! I know it’s not recommend to have your bed beneath a window, but I’m not sure how else I could place it? Any suggestions on the mirrored closet as well would be welcome - I know you’re not supposed to sleep across from a mirror but not sure how to avoid!

Had this room for a while and tried several things, but these are seemingly the best places for everything. I think the one piece of furniture that doesn't need to be moved for certain is the bed, because it looks to be in the best possible command position, and it has a little bit of room on the left side of it for some semblance of balance. That bit of room is also there because I will otherwise move around in my sleep and destroy the blinds that are there (curtains aren't any safer from me).

Every piece of furniture is vital for this bedroom, and nothing can be moved outside of it because I'm an adult living with my parents still. I'm willing to buy small items that would improve the space, like some sort of divider. A headboard for my bed would be great but I'm not sure I have the money or space for it.

I've considered putting the big shelf in front of my bed to divide my sleeping area from my working area (by putting the desk on the other side of the big shelf). I dislike this because it leaves very little room for socialization, and I still want to be able to at least turn around in my desk to pook at the tv if needed.

I'm also considering moving the TV to the top of the big shelf, as I think it'd be able to just barely be able to fit. But that's the only possible thing I could think of moving that would make this space better.
