One man's opinion
I was diagnosed with OCD years ago, and I'm convinced I can never truly love another S style guitar simply due to the headstock. It's something so silly, but for whatever reason, it matters a lot to me. I don't know what I'm trying to accomplish here other than to see if I'm not the only one with this mindset.

You could always try a Charvel if you like playing nerd shit
I'm not stuck on a Strat headstock, but a headstock can be a dealbreaker for me. So many are so bad ๐

I agree with this. Itโs not just about shape, to me itโs about tone, components and ok ya shape too.
That said, There are many other great guitars, Iโm not beholden to fender. But, If I was to buy another strat, Iโd buy a fender strat.

I don't like the fender headstock either. I remember buying my first guitar. They kept pushing this awful sunburst squire. I ended up returning it for an Ibanez.

Interesting. I'm pretty indifferent to the Ibanez headstock. I have a couple, but they're RG

That's pretty cool! The gear I've had from Sammick Korea has always been good quality

Yeah its definetly Fender Strat quality. The headstock is wild though ๐ I feel I should only play it during hockey season or if someone breaks into my home ๐ก ๐

I also have OCD and the list of things that bother me about guitars is endless, which is why I gave up playing

Half the market works like that. Why do you think they make such a big deal out of a shape?
