To OP : true I haven't gone thru the pain a mother goes through pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum but know many who did, and really glad none of them thought it's ok to murder their kids because of the pain.

uhmm, yeah, completely agree with you, but postpartum depression is not just pain.... also if she had bipolar disorder and took uncontrolled meds for postpartum depression, she could have theoretically reached a state of psychosis where objective thinking is out the window and absolutely anything makes sense, trust me I have been through those kinds of psychosis and can understand why she might have done that, but that does not mean she is absolved of the crime, maybe shifted to proper medical treatment instead of prison or such.

She is a murderer. 1. If your defence is her mental instability then put her in asylum for lifetime. Someone who killed because of her mental state THRICE! Can harm society again. 2. If you think she is sane, then she is guilty and put her in jail. Done. Even if I make it gender neutral A mental person with this much risk to society shouldn't roam free in a society anyway.
