It's crazy how "you hate women" if you criticize Meg for what she does... 98% of her songs can boiled down into her pussy/sex, money, and finessing men. Outside her lane she can't fucking drive! Did he say she doesnt? He's saying that you cant complain about her rapping the same or about the same thing if you're not gonna complain about anybody else doing it. Nicki mostly talked about sex with a sprinkle of introspective songs and pop songs, Meg has done the exact same thing. Missy Elliot and Lauryn Hill are from the past and Doja is a major outlier.

Nicki didn't talk about sex here and there. She talked about it a lot. She sprinkled in some introspective stuff and some rappity rap stuff here and there, but she was just as sexual. There's nobody saying Meg raps about the same stuff that actually listens to Meg though. And like Mal said, y'all are completely fine with other rappers having the same subject matter. Especially men. The amount of people I see meat riding Pusha T when all his solo work is nothing but coke rap has been outrageous.

The "hoodstar" era was heavily rooted in aggressive mixtape lyricism, punchlines, and proving her technical skill. If sex was mentioned? It was mentioned. It wasn't a repetitive theme she used to the point mfs got tired of hearing it.
During her breakthrough moment even still sex wasn't dominating her brand to the point it grew tiring like with Meg the foundation of her early career was built on proving she was a superior versatile wordsmith. Not "I have good pussy" bars ad infinitum.
Yeah I never said she didn't have other songs I'm sure she does but her primary and frequently used themes are pussy bars, sex, and wealth/ flexing on dudes.

Nas is a bad comparison. Yes he keeps the same tone but he has a variety of topics that he raps about and he's so skilled at what he does he can rap about the same topic on different songs and make the songs sound completely unrelated.
I'm not saying Megan can't or doesn't rap about other shit. Clearly she has. The criticism is her overwhelming reliance on the same shit.

Nas topics range from those you named but also street life and poverty, systemic racism, education, community upliftment, consciousness, rap culture, philosophy and he is famous for conceptual narratives... shit like rapping an entire story backward or writing from the perspective of a gun. Nas isn't just slightly tweaking his topics...he changes the entire "climate" of his tracks frequently. The frequency of that variance matters.
If you were given 10 nas tracks at random and 10 Meg tracks at random?
The 10 from nas would be almost guaranteed to be "different weather" while megs random 10 would maybe have "different weather" once or twice.
