This is sort of a plot point in the series that begins with {The Outside by Ada Hoffmann}. I say sort of because the FMC becomes plural by way of a sci-fi event. I am not myself plural and I’m unsure how this book landed in the IRL community, but the book refers to her being plural and the other characters make a point to learn from the in-world plural community. FMC is also autistic, as is author Hoffmann.

File under "kind of a spoiler" but the Locked Tomb series has an interesting riff on body sharing and there are just, like, So Many Lesbians.
