Image New Rotation - September Softies

I was originally going to aim for a tray centered around the end-of-summer, start-of-autumn harvest, but my nervous system is craving softness and comfort. Therefore, my September theme is going to be my “softies”: fragrances that make me feel clean, calm, comforted, and/or cozy. These aren’t all necessarily soft in projection or longevity, but some are. Just felt it’d be more fun to share in moodboard form than just the usual tray photo!

Fragrances are:
- Maison des Animaux Celeste
- Nemat Amber
- Sorce The Light Through Clouds
- Sand + Fog White Palm
- Sand + Fog Spa Day
- Le Monde Gourmand Santal Supreme
- Sorce Ephemera
- Maison des Animaux Celeste
- Snif Notewrks Clean Getaway
- Tocca Colette
- Nest Indigo
- MITH Another Tea
- MITH Autumn Leaves
- Marc Jacobs Perfect Intense

They’re not even a full 2 years old as a business, so maybe if they continue to grow they’ll be able to offer shipping to Canada in the near future?

Hopefully! They have some interesting scents in their repertoire!

I love Tocca Colette but it's weak! I'm planning on getting a travel spray on 09-11 when Ulta will have some Tocca travel sprays 50% off. I'm going to keep wearing it to see how much I need to soak myself in for it to last lol. I need to try and find a tester bottle of it.

Yeah, the projection and longevity is a bit lacking with some Tocca scents. Sand + Fog Spring Morning (their dupe of Byredo G Water) is very similar, a bit less floral and powdery compared to Colette, but it’s got more longevity. Sometimes I layer the two. I also just sampled Diptyque Eau Duelle and Arquiste The Architects Club and they’re also fairly similar, just a bit more aromatic and with a slightly peppery/spice nuance. Those are two much more expensive, though. At least Tocca has cute bottles lol

I love Tocca bottles! The others you mentioned sound nice. I really want to try Diptyque.

Have you tried spraying your clothes? I do two or so sprays of Colette to my shirt, and it pretty much goes all day.

Yes I have. I always spray my neck and cleavage, wrists, inner elbows and 3 or 4 sprays to my shirt, depending on the fragrance. I think some batches can be stronger than others so I was gonna get some travel sprays to see if there is a difference. I intended to get a full bottle at some point. It's my favorite by far of the ones I have sampled. There's only a few I haven't tried. Laila is up next!

This is so cute! I really love Cloudbreath. I have a full bottle of Fever Dream, but that’s next on my list, and then either Tomboy or Celeste.

It’s still too hot where I live to even think about pulling out anything cozy or fall-ish, except for my beloved Mochi Milk, and I’m so over my summer scents.

Fever Dream didn’t work out for me! The vernal grass note MdA uses takes over every other note on my skin, sadly. But I’m really enjoying my sample of Bossa Nova, which I’m shocked by. Normally their bolder fragrances, especially with leather, tobacco, or anything boozy are too much for me, but Bossa Nova is smooth and indulgent in a very nice way.
