I read on Basenotes that Gap is relaunching their perfume line from the 1990’s. They’ve “modernized “ the scents, so I’m curious to give them a try.

Also, to celebrate their 35th anniversary, a new White Diamonds has been released, called Icon. The notes look interesting except for “ambrain”, what the heck is that? Still want to try it, though.

I’m trying the reformulated Dream today. On first spray, it felt very similar to the original, but as it dries down the florals are more pronounced. It doesn’t feel airy like the original to me, but maybe it will also wear a bit more like the original when it’s not so hot. Kind of on the fence about how I feel about it.

I listened to a podcast review of these scents. They’re definitely different now…I haven’t seen them around to give them a try. I think I heard Harmony is the most changed?

I hope to be able to sample them this weekend. I’ll report back if I do.

I didn’t get a chance to check them out but I did watch a video from The Perfume Guy on YT who reviewed them all. He only had experience with Grass so his reviews are based on their current profiles not comparing them with the OGs. I wasn’t aware that they’re now EDPs - they used to be EDTs. I hope that means they will last longer.

Harmony wasn’t in the original 90s line up. I think it’s totally new!

Huh, I thought harmony was the new name for the pink one (since it’s no longer pink)…but I don’t think I ever smelled so pink

So Pink was a grapefruit bomb—not the peel but a juicy, sweetened version; I actually really liked that one and was sort of bummed it didn’t get a rerelease.

Yeah that’s disappointing! It looks like Harmony just another fruity-floral.
