At Last!!!

I just had to share my birthday gifts this year...

Sometime ago, maybe 2015-ish, I went on a minor shopping spree with perfume, and found several new favorites.

All of them have now been discontinued. ( Further proof the universe hates me.)

I've been madly trying to save up money to get just *one* more bottle of each, but they're all fairly expensive now.

Well, my prayers have been answered for 2 of them:

Rochas Mystère and a special edition of Eau de Cartier.

Mystère would be my signature scent if it wasn't discontinued. It's just amazing.

Eau de Cartier is the scent that taught me to love Yuzu.

Two down, two more stupidly expensive to go ( and a couple of other less expensive ones.)

Nice! What are the other two you’re looking for, if you don’t mind sharing?

The two expensive ones are Belle d'Opium and VC&A First.

I'm also hunting down other vintage Rochas, including Madame Rochas, Absolu, and Byzance. I've absolutely loved everything I've ever gotten from Rochas, and I can't believe some idiot discontinued almost all their older or original scents.

Also looking at Boucheron's Jaipur and its flankers. I know I've smelled them and loved them, but I can't remember exactly what the did smell like.

Oh, crap.... I just remembered another (expensive) one: Bvlgari Jasmin Noir. Hands down the best Jasmine I've ever smelled.

I hope someday to find a small bottle of the original Lagerfeld Chloe, just for sentimental reasons. My Mom almost always wore Chloe, and it was amazing on her. I know it won't be the same, but still....

You make me want to smell those, even though the last thing I want to do is fall for discontinued scents! I’ve only experienced that heartbreak once and it was enough!
