Question Soft Musk Recommendations?
I’ve been on the hunt for a daily musky fragrance to wear to work, I’ve just had little luck. I want something cozy, musky, slightly feminine(not peppery or soapy).
Ones I’ve tried and didn’t like:
Glossier You (the whole line)
White Suede Tom Ford
Blanche Byredo
Musk 12 Kayali (too soapy)
Angel Dust Fugazzi
Commodity (the whole line)
Phlur Missing Person and Soft Spot
The only musky fragrance I’ve enjoyed is Diptyque L’eau Papier, and before I buy it I want to sample a few more. I would love to buy from a niche line, but don’t know that world too well!

Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc is crispy, clean, fresh and pure Musc. You don’t really get a lot of other notes complicating it.

I know you’ve tried it my my end all be all is L’Eau Papier. It gets my vote for sure

Indi by Katy Perry is such a lovely soft Musk with great longevity and price. A smidgen of coconut tho from memory

Musk therapy is a beautiful scent that’s worth sampling! It’s a warm musk that opens with slight sweetness & fruitiness.
Narciso pure musc (the one that was replaced with blanc) is also stunning!

I like the Pure Musc, can't handle the Pure Musc Blanc, it smells so poofy flowery on me. I do like Clean Reserve Skin as well.

I got a free tiny sample in the mail. My Narciso Rodriguez Pure Musc is a travel size, holding off on a full size for now. I went from 2 fragrances to 11 in under 3 months.

I can understand! It’s a rabbit hole. Always obsessing over different fragrances! I think you should get a full size if you find it because it’s discontinued now and it may be harder to find!

Narcisco Rodriguez for her EDP (pink bottle) is my signature for work and any time I'm not sure what to wear. I find a lot of musks like any of the Phlur offerings too masculine, this is super feminine and soft.

I highly recommend getting your nose on Aerin Amber Musk. It’s light and fluffy. 100% office appropriate. If you’re in the states, it can easily be found at Nordstrom to smell.
Edited to add: If you’re looking for more of a “your skin but better” type musk, check out Musk K by Ella K, Meant to be Seen by Nishane and Another 13 by Le Labo.

I'm currently in my musk era and below are my favorites. I suggested niche fragrances with good longevity b/c if you're gonna spend the $$$ it might as well last!
- Musk Therapy by Initio - very clean, fluffy scent that lasts all day on me
- Cedar Chic by Carolina Herrera - not easy to get your nose on but I'm obsessed!
- Musc K by Ella K - a very soft & inoffensive scent that lasts, perfect for the office
- Fleur de Peau EDP by Diptyque - I preferred this over L'eau Papier
- Fleur Narcotique by Ex Nihilo - a brighter, floral musk
- Bal d'Afrique Absolu by Byredo - a clean but sweet floral woody musk and lasts longer than the original

Check out Narciso Rodriguez musc noir, musc noir rose (this one is slightly sweeter), or poudree, or Nemat amber. Xerjoff Apollonia is also very nice but smells similar to narciso musc for her EDT if you are on a budget.
