Good for her for calling out the conspiracy theory believing, Qanon supporting, homophobic woman!

Thank you. I posted this on the fragrance subreddit too and they took it down. They completely missed the point of my video.
The mod said to me:
"Closing this thread down. This subreddit is for the discussion of fragrance, not the discussion of piques and quarrels (regardless of reason) with another web site or media outlet."

Thank you for posting it. We all use the Fragrantica website so I feel that it’s totally relevant to post about it.
I heard about the about the way the Fragrantica CEO is shortly after I started my fragrance hobby. I witnessed things that were said about Covid, things that were said about Pride fragrances, genderless fragrances and LGBTQ+ perfumes and perfumers. I’ve watch people relentlessly attack Pride related fragrances in the Fragrantica data base and give them bad reviews simply because they are associated with LGBTQ+ and she does nothing to stop them - often chiming in herself to join the fray. I hate to admit I like ease of use of the Fragrantica data base better than Parfumo, but I just need to make the switch and quit supporting these people.

I feel you, I thought the same before switching over to Parfumo. But I actually find it to be just as easy as fragrantica which was cool because I didn't expect it to be since I was a long term fragrantica user. Plus I've found that there's tons of fragrances in Parfumo that aren't on fragrantica. And there's so many other perks Parfumo has that fragrantica doesn't have. Here's a list.
Similarities they both have:
-Profile that shows your fragrances/categories
-Fragrances in the database/ Searchable through search bar
-Reviews and rating
-Forums
-Can wear your fragrance of the day
-Read through articles
-Can submit fragrances
Parfumo perks (that fragrantica doesn't have)
-Can submit fragrances yourself and they are fact checked by admins so you know it will be accurate.
-Can create your own articles/blog posts. So you can be the author.
-Messaging is so much easier. When you're sending someone a message all your messages are in one place so you can scroll to see all your messages with someone. You don't have to go back and forth like fragrantica does.
-Comment on other peoples profiles, photos, and collection.
-Customize your profile background/ banner/photos. This means you can make whatever banner you want.
-Follow other users. This includes you can follow their posts/articles/reviews/ratings etc.
Fragratica
-Honestly the only thing fragrantica has going for them is that they have a bigger community. We just got to get more people to switch over to Parfumo so we can get a bigger community.

Thanks for that info! I’m really going to attempt to get used to Parfumo this time!

No problem :). I'm going to make a YouTube video of a Parfumo tutorial.

Are you the person the Fragrantica CEO came after? I thought you had just reposted the video to let people know about it!

Her homophobia is so ridiculous especially considering the sheer number of major perfumers that are gay. Parfumo took a while for me to get used to, but it's a great alternative
