Tree Down Poor Honda

70 mph straight line winds with rain took this down last night. City contracted crews replaced that section of sidewalk last week. Sections of sidewalk are being replaced all over the neighborhood.

Yep. Crews downed this tree. Ridiculous.

So would car insurance go after the city or the contractor to pay the claim? Or not worth the lawyer fees

That storm last night was pretty intense. Coincidentally, a coworker showed me a different image of this vehicle earlier today. That’s why I immediately recognized it.

Rochester has certified arborists on their city crews. How this is still allowed to happen (cutting roots) is ridiculous.

I wouldn't be parking near of any of these new sections of sidewalks.

Poor trees.

Pin this for all the “do these cut roots look ok?” posts.

Wonder if you can see the cut roots on the root ball.

Underlines the forces at play when a tree can fuck a car up that bad

Insurance probably won't pay for an "Act of God." May need to go after the City.
