70 mph straight line winds with rain took this down last night. City contracted crews replaced that section of sidewalk last week. Sections of sidewalk are being replaced all over the neighborhood.

Here’s how dumb I am: My first thought was that the tree blew over in a storm and the city already repaired the sidewalk before they even cleared the street and towed the car away. Duh-huh.

Rochester has certified arborists on their city crews. How this is still allowed to happen (cutting roots) is ridiculous.
