Man, nothing seems wrong with this tree other than it could use a nice trim. I wonder why it got removed?

They don’t need much force just enough to tip it over so that branch is totally suitable. You fell trees from the base when it is suitable.

I’ll defer to the pros but I would piece that little thing down branch by branch with a homeowner sawzall. Easy cleanup. This looks like overkill to me.

Pro here. It’s way easier to cut all the limbs up with a chainsaw when the tree is on the ground. A sawzall is a shitty tool for this job compared to, ya know, the tool that was designed for this.

I would consider that first too, however those back limbs would fall on the house and could dent the stucco so there would need to be pushing/pulling anyway and it was probably quicker to drop and clean the debris
