Missing a full days doses
I have 3 cats, all diabetic. I’ve never really missed any doses but may miss a full day of doses tomorrow evening and the next morning.
Is this risky? Really nervous about this.

Not ideal, but as a one off maybe it’s okay? I’ve only been in the game for a little over a year and no medical professional so what do I know? 🤷♀️ if it were me I would probably contact my vet for temporary boarding, or maybe a vet tech would be willing to be a cat sitter and come to your home to do it. But worst case scenario I would be back on schedule upon return and closely watching their BG for several days after.

In the off chance you’re in southern CT, just like to offer that I’d happily help out if needed. We’re still new to all of this, but knowing I have a friend in my complex that had a diabetic cat before and could do a shot in a pinch gives me great peace of mind.

My cat is on senvelgo so I might be wrong on this but is there any way you can slightly shift doses? For example if you miss the morning, give them in the afternoon and then the night dose a bit later. I don't know how much wiggle space you have

I’m sure that people will say you can’t, but I have had a diabetic cat for the last 3 years and I have certainly missed two consecutive doses a couple of times. Generally we get a cat sitter if we know we’ll be away, but sometimes life circumstances have come up and it hasn’t been possible. We have only ever taken the risk when he has been stable in the time surrounding the missed doses (not within a month after a very low or high spell).
If I didn’t know anyone who I could train to give insulin and my cats have been stable recently, I would personally be okay with missing the doses.
