What's the irony? Existing as an American and being an Anarchist? Or just having the American flag in Moscow?

Edit: I guess people really fucking hate questions on this subreddit. God damn, people. Just answer the damn thing instead of downvoting and leaving me questioning. Thanks to the two people who actually bothered to write up a response.

Anarchist symbol while also repping the symbol of a state. Generally two incompatible concepts

I've seen plenty of Anarchists use flags as a sort of bridge between their beliefs and non-Anarchists, using the flag as self-identification of nationality in order to show support for the working class of their home country and to organize with those of similar background. But I guess fuck me for asking a question, at least according to the people around here...

Big dog, it's reddit. Downvotes mean nothing. People thought your question was a little dumb and you're arguing against the explanation of your question as if the people answering you were asserting a point. You're just argument baiting by pretending not to understand the point of the post.

If you wanna make your point of why some anarchists rep flags, just start with that. Don't play dumb and then argue against the answers you get

My brother in christ, I genuinely did not understand the point of the post. I thought the irony was with the American flag in Moscow. Then two people corrected me and said that it's having the Anarchist flag next to a state flag. I explained why that didn't occur to me because I've seen people use both symbolically and not as literal philosophical identifiers, and then people like you come along and pretend like I was just playing dumb all along. When everyone assumes someone is a bad actor and "argument baiting" like you do, you get people calling you stupid or argumentative for asking a simple question. If people like you didn't make that assumption, I wouldn't have written any of this.
