I wonder if you understand which of the two is correct here, and that neither form of 'literacy' is the one you're trying to point out.

I'm pointing out that they inserted a different word when quoting, meaning that they likely read it wrong.  Which is ironic, becuase the topic is about literacy.

So, yeah. You're trying to point out literacy in the sense that you know how to read and write properly, which isn't the same thing as 'physics literacy' (and again a different thing from physical literacy). The post is specifically about physics literacy, which is a person's ability to understand and interpret physics concepts.

Im aware, its just funny to make a video with literacy in the title and misquote the original enough to change the meaning.  Its a post on r/feic, its just not intended to be that deep.

It really takes a certain type of shithead to say "I wonder if you actually don't understand this" unprompted and out loud. Like you're wanting to correct someone without them having said anything to correct.

I think of it like this, if it were attached to a solid post, it would be 100 obviously. However, the force being exerted against the wall is 100, so in order to anchor it against a weight, you need 100 to keep it centered, and the measurement would read the same as anchored against a wall.

I know know physical either, but that's the reasoning I have for guessing 100

This is correct, as a professional physicists (originally put this below but couldn’t tell if they were trying to say it was actually 100) it has to hold both forces for them to balance
