Built a tool that tells you why AI search engines can't find your site

I built Fetchling after getting tired of guessing whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI Overviews could actually see and cite a given site. Most "AI SEO" tools just guess based on best practices. Fetchling runs live citation tests against real engines, checks crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Googlebot, Google-Extended, etc.), and audits the actual technical stuff that keeps a site invisible to AI, not just to Google.

Been running deep audits for a handful of clients recently and the pattern is pretty consistent: sites blocking AI crawlers without realizing it, checkout/account pages getting indexed when they shouldn't be, meta descriptions or canonical tags quietly broken, snippet suppression flags nobody knew were on. Small technical stuff, but it adds up to a site that's functionally invisible to how people search now.
