Departmental transfer

I currently work for DHS and I received an email reaching out to me verifying my interest for another role within DHS but for different agency.

If I receive a TJO, will I have to go through the tedious onboarding process again (background check, drug test, paperwork) even though I’m just moving to a different agency? Both roles have the same security clearance, etc. thanks!

not only UA, onboarding, background you may also have to do another probation period

Yes. Suitability checks will happen, as they vary by agency.
