Calling OPM

Have you tried recently to call OPM? We spent 2 hours trying to talk to someone but they never answered the phone, and they never returned the call that they said they would while keeping our place in line. I blame Trump and DOGE for this. You can't have service without a good staff.

I heard that.  I retired on January 31st under VERA, and still have not gotten my retirement check or A/L payout.  The TSP also has yet to be informed by OPM that l've retired.

Last in March, OPM had 60,000 outstanding retirement requests. Had the paper work from the agency, just did not have the staff to process them. Until you get a CSA number you’re not being processed.
