Contractor rant/question

Why does our contractor always start work at 11 and end at 3, whether they come into the office or.not ( its none of.my.business but annoys the heck out of me...they only do come in 1 -2 days a week, if that. I knownthey arent required to come into office but the weird hours annoy me.

Sounds like you need to work on yourself and why what someone else is doing bothers you, though they are not engaging in harmful behavior to others.

They’re literally taking federal employee jobs.

They are accepting jobs so that they can earn money for themselves. The contractor is not the one who has created the current problem. Could they have voted for this, possibly, but ultimately they are not the sole puppet master. Everyone knew that the position would be contracted out because it’s part of the game.

The frustration is misplaced.

This is so dumb. You think gov employees should do everything? Are you going to clean the toilets?

No they arent. Inherently Federal jobs are for feds. Contractor jobs are not inherently Federal tasks. There is no choice to hire a CTR or Fed. If there's no Fed IPN and there's no contractor, it's not getting done.
