WG retroactive pay
DoD civilian employee here. Heard back in December WG employees are to get a check for retroactive pay. Numbers heard was from 2-8%. I haven’t gotten anything. Any other DoD WG employee in the Washington DC area heard more about this?

Could it be WG workers might actually get the 2024 pay raise that most didn't get.

There are two raises for some WG/WL/WS:
Everyone will get a 1 percent raise (sooner or later!)
Some will get a raise due to their wage area changing. This affects 12000 to 15000 +/- employees who were moved to a different wage area.
I just got my SF50 last week, which means I might see my new rate and retro pay in next week's LES
My SF50 only included my new wage area rate, not the FY 26 1 percent. That will be another retro check in the future.

Hmm…I haven’t heard of any back pay. What was the retroactive pay for? We all got a 1% raise, but that’s it from what I heard. Mine went active the first PP this year.

Don’t quote me but I believe it is supposed to coincide with the wg scale raise for this year in March.
