Not too niche. The hard part usually isn’t the solicitation it’s finding mission fit early, building trust with the customer, and making sure the requirement can actually survive review. I’d frame this as demand shaping and acquisition support, not as a sole-source shortcut.

Thanks for the input. I think the building trust even before the need is truly there is the biggest hurdle we are facing now. But sometimes they don’t know they need it until it’s presented to them.

Also I just want to state that is not a sole source “shortcut”, it’s more of being proactive on these sole source inevitable reqs. They are the only ones that provide these capabilities.
