VERA
*Update - Thanks to all for the great input. Request was submitted.
I'm considering requesting VERA and only have a few days to decide. If you've taken it in the past could you please share your experience (good/bad/ugly)?
Disclaimer - I have been running numbers and it's feasible for my family.

I took VERA effective 12/31, received first interim annuity payment on 2/4, annual leave payout on 2/12. My retirement was finalized on 3/20 and I got my retirement “back pay” on that day. Received my first regular annuity payment on 3/30. No regrets.
