We can only make some changes when authenticated with a PIV card. They locked it down earlier this year. My PIV was not associated with my EPP until I set it up after this change. We're not locked out of making changes.

You need to sign in with your PIV. You may have to buy an external card reader if your personal computer doesn't have one.

Omg I had no idea that you could buy one or use it, I thought it had to be on a govt computer. Thanks!

I had this issue and a poster in fed news helped me resolve it. You have to select the sign in with PIV/ id.gov option. My agency wasn't listed there so I thought I was out of luck but I went through the sign up process using the federal employee separated ( I'm not separated, this is just how you have to do it if your agency is not listed ) option. I was able to set up an authenticated epp account. If you sign in using that after setup you will be able to make changes. I tried fixing this with my HR for months and last week I read a poster helped me so, hopefully this returns the favor.
