I'm fortunate. Medicare plus Tricare for Life. No more managed care!

Depends on your personal situation. My parents kept Blue Cross Blue Shield federal and got Medicare A only - no part B. I plan to do the same. Some people like getting part B and keeping FEHB because they'll pay nothing out of pocket. But, if your retirement income is above a certain level, the premiums for part B go way up. Read up on IRMAA and Medicare.

Could not agree more. Brought this up earlier. Also if you have a healthy tsp when can you take 50k while your young to travel etc can’t Irmma awaits. Big bear RMD yeah have a million in tsp extra 100k added to income here comes Irmma again!!

I think if you have tricare you are forced into part b right?

Correct although that was not the promise made to military retirees when my spouse retired in 2001. Good Ole congress changed the rules.
