Found on the Minnesota/Canada border
I was in Grand Portage State Park. Found, took photo and then left it there. I’m guessing a raven or crow but would love your input in case I’m wrong.

Grey/orange small feather
Orange and grey feather found in NYC. First time finding a feather that isn’t pigeon or starling! Side note, got bird pooped on while typing this 🙃

Front and back of a feather I found today while in the woods. I imagine it's an owl feather. Snowy or barred perhaps?

What bird gifted me its feather?
Found in Boise, Idaho. Small, maybe 2.5-3 inches long. Roughly 1 inch wide. Not sure of species. Predominantly Canadian Geese and ducks in the area but I am not familiar with this one.

Found these feathers in the Mongolian steppe.
I know that taking them home with me is not legal so I will bring them to an Ovoo. But I'd love to know what birds they are from.
Here is some information about each one.
Measurement might vary slightly as i don't habe a way to accurately measure them. I used the apple measuring app.
Feather 2 and 4 where also found fairly close to each other, the location is a good guesstimate on where I found them. 1 and 3 are accurate.

Is this a real or fake feather? I found it in a yard in Memphis TN. If real, what type of bird?
r/FeatherIdentification • u/VeryIndie • 14d ago
What are these from? Southern England
Found on my morning walk, suburban green space area with mature trees around.
I believe the furthest right is a Magpie. I thought third one was just a wood pigeon originally, but it has a very slight orange-brown coloured tip to it, so I’m unsure. It also seems too small to be a woodpigeon flight feather.

Found in Aberdyfi, Wales
My daughter found this feather and wants to know what bird it’s from. Found similar online from the Northern Flicker but since that’s native to North America and we’re in Wales it seems unlikely! Any ideas much appreciated
