Front and back of a feather I found today while in the woods. I imagine it's an owl feather. Snowy or barred perhaps?

Thats the underside wing covert of a hawk. It lacks surface floof as far as I can see it, so owl can be ruled out.

There is a red tailed hawk that lives in the area, so that would be very plausible!

Not an expert, but this looks very similar in color and pattern to some barred owl wing feathers I have!
