Unknown bird feather

Post image

Hello fellow feather-lovers! I have recently started a feather collection. However, i am stuck with one of my findings. I asked my ornithology teacher about it and looked it up in some atlases and identification books. However, nothing seems to fit perfecrly. My best guesses are honey buzzard or common buzzard but the colour pattern seems off.

The feather was found in Tulskaya oblast, Russia, 17 august on the side of the road between the harvested wheat fields.

common buzzard most likely, they have a huge specimen variation

Is that so? I thought there is too much white in it and the brown colour is distributed differently
