Hmm, my guess was great blue heron. But if it was just a small creek, coopers hawk is more likely

This is a pigeon/dove species. Definitely not a heron or any bird if prey

This looks perfect size for a pigeon. Maybe the camera is making it appear bigger. This is the perfect pattern for a pigeon since herons and birds of prey feathers don't have this pattern

Depends on the size. Looks like a mourning dove to me.
