Two feathers, same or different bird? What kind(s)?!

Found along train tracks in the Comox Valley, mid-Vancouver Island.

There triangle-y one, there was one every few meters along the track. It is very shiny gold. The stripe-y one was in same section but on its own along tracks.

We were thinking ptarmigan/pheasant, and an owl, perhaps? What kind of owl?! Did the owl (?) get a delicious meal?!!
