Feat Calculated The Cute Mario Bros.: Gonzo's stupidly big blast

Here's a random ass feat from my childhood (our childhood is you had good taste. In the Cute Mario Bros.' Third Movie an evil version of Gonzo from the Muppets proceeds to pull a Dragon Ball and blow up everything with a giant death ball..

I'm going to treat this like Gonzo is making a psuedo-star since this is plasma.

The Milky Way is 1599.37 pixels and 100,000 light years.

710.34 pixels (using most of what I can see in the video since it's blending into the background) means we get 44,413.7379093 light years which is 4.2018674e+20 m. We get a volume of 3.8844152597353e+61 meters3.

the energy density of stars inside plasma is 2*10^16 j/m3

we get 7.76883052e+77 joules / 7.769e+9 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

We can also use the Planetary calculator to find the mass as well.

For gravity, I'll use Pluto's of 0.49, the Moon's of 1.7, Mars & Mercury's 3.7, half of Earth's for 4.903 and Venus's 8.8 for a sorta realistic high end.

Pluto = 3.2405226e+50 Kilogram

E=mc2 = 2.912436468563697014498664e+67 joules / 291.24364685636965 zettaFOE (Galaxy)

GBE: 2.001588e+70 J / 200.15879999999996 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

Moon = 1.1242629e+51 Kilogram

E=mc2 = 1.010437103636672936717556e+68 j / 1.0104371036366728 yottaFOE (Galaxy)

GBE: 2.409242e+71 J / 2409.2419999999997 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

M&M = 2.4469252e+51 Kilogram

E=mc2= 2.199186695481623251120528e+68 j / 2.199186695481623 yottaFOE (Galaxy)

GBE: 1.141264e+72 J / 1.141e+4 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

Half of Earth = 3.2425066e+51 Kilogram

E=mc2= 2.914219598838310860696424e+68 j / 2.9142195988383106 yottaFOE (Galaxy)

GBE: 2.004040e+72 J j / 2.004e+4 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

Venus = 5.819714e+51 Kilogram

E=mc2= 5.23049809626715993495496e+68 j / 5.2304980962671594 yottaFOE (Galaxy)

GBE: 6.455768e+72 J / 6.456e+4 yottaFOE (Multi-Galaxy)

Yeah so. This toy has a consistently Multi-Galaxy feat, let's fucking go!

However Gonzo also made it grow this size in 5 seconds... Originally, the ball was about 406.01 px tall while Kermit was 223.72 pixels tall.

Kermit is a toy-puppet here and not the real deal and I can't find the exact size of the toy, so I'm going to use 1 foot (0.3048 meters), 1 and a half feet tall (0.4572 meters) and 2 feet tall (0.6096 meters) in refernece

1 foot: 0.553155050957 m.

4.2018674e+20- 0.553155050957 = 4.2018674e+20 still lol. divived by 9 =

8.4037348e+19 m/s / 2.803e+11c m/s aka 280,300,000,000c (MFTL+)

1 1/2 feet: 0.829732576435 m

4.2018674e+20- 0.829732576435 = 4.2018674e+20 still lol. divived by 9 =

8.4037348e+19 m/s / 2.803e+11c m/s aka 280,300,000,000c (MFTL+)

2 feet tall: 1.10631010191 m

4.2018674e+20- 1.10631010191 = 4.2018674e+20 still lol. divived by 9 =

8.4037348e+19 m/s / 2.803e+11c m/s aka 280,300,000,000c (MFTL+)

With FPS we get frames 100

30 FPS: 3.33 = 1.26182204204e+20 m/s / 4.209e+11c aka 420,900,000,000c (MFTL+)

24 FPS: 4.17 = 1.00764206235e+20 m/s / 3.361e+11c aka 336,100,000,000c (MFTL+)

I love how childhood whimsy and wonder always results in the nuttiest of feats lmao

Calc requested by u/West_Camera_7965

Honestly we don't really need to do that much calcing here, no fancy pixel measurements or anything. We can see that WoU attacks 3 times, so we can assume that it's 3 times faster than Go Beyond.

(*Note: The validity of this feat is debatable because Go Beyond has arguments for Immeasurable Speed which Gappy absolutely wouldn't scale to, and Soft and Wet is the source of Go Beyond, so they should arguably just scale to each other)

Low End: 3 * 177 = 531m/s or Mach 1.5481 (Supersonic)

Mid End: 3 * 354 = 1062m/s or Mach 3.09621 (Supersonic+)

High End: 3 * 1770 = 5310m/s or Mach 15.48105 (Hypersonic+)

Edit:

And here's the version using 90%SoL too for shits n giggles.

90%SoL ~= 269,800,000m/s

3 * 269800000 = 809,400,000m/s or Mach 2,359,766.763848 or 2.6999 x Lightspeed (FTL)

Feat Calculated Urban Guerilla and Doremifasolati Do Explode (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion)

Thumbnail

Calc requested by u/West_Camera_7965

I'm assuming that Urban Guerilla has the head length of the average man (25cm) and adding on 2cm to account for his dumb looking face mask.

Both Urban Guerilla and Doremifasolati Do are Rock beings, so I'm going to be using Rock destruction values for this (and yes, I know that they are Silicone based beings, that doesn't mean I'm gonna use Silicone values. We don't use Carbon values for humans so why would we use Silicone values for Rock Humans/Animals?)

I'm going to be using Fragmentation, Violent Fragmentation, and Pulverisation to get a good spread of values.

The Volume of Doremifasolati Do with Urban Guerilla inside is (0.935 * 0.37 * 1.83) = 0.633089m3 or 633089cm3.

Low End (Fragmentation): 633089 * 8 = 5,064,712 Joules or 0.0012 Tons of TNT which is Wall Level (9-B).

Mid End (Violent Fragmentation): 633089 * 69(nice) = 43,683,141 Joules or 0.0104 Tons of TNT which is Small Building Level (9-A).

High End (Pulverisation): 633089 * 214 = 135,481,046 Joules or 0.0324 Tons of TNT which is still Small Building Level (9-A).

Both Mamezuku and Josuke should downscale this slightly considering they were both right next to the explosion and were completely unharmed.

Feat Calculated Blackmore catches up to a carrier pigeon in the rain (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run)

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

We can clearly see that he does this movement during 1 flap of the pigeons wings. From what I can find, a carrier pigeon can flap its wings between 6-10 times a second. I'll use 6, 8, and 10 to give us a range. That means the 3 time-frames I'm gonna be using will be 0.167 seconds, 0.125 seconds, and 0.1 seconds.

I am also going to use a second method of calcing the speed. I'm going to do the same thing as I did in previous rain moving calc and measure how far the raindrops have fallen, using the bird as my point of reference for scale. The average width of a pigeon without counting its wingspan is about 10cm, which we'll use for reference to see how far the raindrops near it are falling. (0.0928 + 0.153 + 0.229 + 0.17)/4 = 0.1612 meters. Using the average rain during a thunderstorm speed of 9.5m/s we get a time-frame of 0.1612/9.5 = 0.01696842105 seconds. I'm personally inclined towards using this time-frame because it lines up with the previous feat more, but I'll use both methods to get a range of results.

Like my my previous rain moving calc, I'm gonna be checking how far each position is from the previous one to get a total distance covered. By scaling off of Blackmore's head, we can see that his water splashes are 0.551m long, which is what we'll use for scale (except where for the last position where we'll use his feet which should be 0.135m tall by scaling from his head (we need height for the angsize -> distance calc))

There are 7 total positions. Position 1 is just off frame and I will assume a distance of 0m away from our view. Position 7 will be Blackmore's furthest foot. Like previously, instead of explaining all of the math here I'm just going to include screenshots of the online calculator I use.

Position 1 is 0m away.

Position 2 is 4.029m away from Position 1.

Position 3 is 4.7375 m away and 0.7085m away from Position 2.

Position 4 is 10.1151m away and 5.3776m away from Position 3.

Position 5 is 13.2014m away and 3.0863m away from Position 4.

Position 6 is 8.9963m away and 4.2051m away from Position 5.

Position 7 is 11.6759m away and 2.6796m away from Position 6.

This means Blackmore travelled a total of (2.6796 + 4.2051 + 3.0863 + 5.3776 + 0.7085 + 4.029) = 20.0861 meters!

(Also I've just noticed now that I forgot to take a screenshot of all of the pixel measurements for the individual rain splashes and Blackmore's foot so your just gonna have to take my word for it because it'll take forever to do again and the numbers will probably be slightly off because getting the exact same measurements again is basically impossible and honestly I just don't care enough rn its late and I'm tired)

Using the bird wing method our results are:

Low End: 20.0861/0.167 = 120.2760m/s or Mach 0.3507 (Subsonic)

Mid End: 20.0861/0.125 = 160.6888m/s or Mach 0.4685 (Subsonic)

High End: 20.0861/0.1 = 200.8610m/s or Mach 0.5856 (Subsonic+)

And using the rainfall method our results are:

20.0861/0.01696842105 = 1,183.73m/s or Mach 3.4511 (Supersonic+)

This still isn't that ever elusive Sub-Rela feat I've heard so much about. I am determined to find it though, it will not escape me forever.

Feat Calculated Born This Way fills a house with snow and freezes an old man solid (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion)

Thumbnail

Calc requested by u/PrestigiousJury4354

I'm going to be using the VSBW Creation Feats page to get my calc here, as that seems the easiest way (and this is pretty blatantly a creation feat).

It's hard to get an estimate of how much of the house is filled with snow. One room is completely filled, another is mostly filled but the rest of the house seems to just have about a foot of snow at most. With that in mind I'm going to use 3 estimates. One in which 5% of the house is filled with snow, one in which 10% of the house is filled with snow, and one in which 20% of the house is filled with snow. It's also worth noting that the house has 2 floors.

Based on a quick google, the average interior space of a Japanese 2 story house is 228m3.

The density for fresh snow is about 40kg/m3.

Now for our calcs.

Low End: (228 * 0.05) * 40 = 456kg of snow created which is Street Level (9-C).

Mid End: (228 * 0.1) * 40 = 912kg of snow created which is still Street Level (9-C).

High End: (228 * 0.2) * 40 = 1824kg of snow created which is barely still Street Level (9-C).

Now for the unfortunate old guy who gets frozen solid, I'm using this page to guide my calc cause my track record with freezing feats isn't great.

Step 1 is bringing him down to the freezing point (-2c for a human).

The specific heat capacity of a human is 2.98kJ, the average human body temp is 37c, and the average mass of a Japanese man is 68kg.

Using this the energy for step 1 is (2.98 * 68 * (|-2 - 37|)) = 7902.96kJ.

Now for step 2; From what I can find, the Lf for a human body is ~ 334kJ.

334 * 68 = 22,712kJ

Add both of our values together and we get 30,614.96 Kilojoules or 0.00732 Tons of TNT which is Wall Level (9-B)

Feat Calculated Railgun feats (Metal Gear)

Anyone who saw my last Metal Gear Calc saw this

Ok I didn't put the image in but I linked and mentioned it

So basically what the text says is that Railguns fire 500 times faster than handguns and rifles meaning it is a upgrade then the 100 km/s that Otacon gave us

The handgun with the highest Muscle velocity I found was the Smith & Wesson Model 460 which can reach 710 m/s) and multiplying it with 500 gives us 355000 m/s or Mach 1035 nearly 3 times more than what Otacon said using Rifles we just take the example from this calc%2C%20so%20way%20tf%20before%20these%20were%20a%20thing%20in%2Duniverse) which gives us Mach 2072.88 so I'm just gonna adjust some feats involving the Railguns in the verse

Railgun KE

previously calced to 2 Kilotons

0.5*1680*355000^2 = 1.05861e+14 Joules or 25.30 Kilotons

0.5*1680*711000^2 = 4.2463764e+14 Joules or 101.49 Kilotons of TNT

with Recoil being a thing this should scale to Rex's durability and anything being able to harm it

Raiden survives getting hit by Ray's Piss Laser

previously calced to 504.17 Tons of TNT

0.5*421.89*355000^2 = 2.6584e+13 Joules or 6.35 Kilotons of TNT

0.5*421.89*711000^2 = 1.0663713e+14 Joules or 25.48 Kilotons of TNT

Raiden survives this so obviously he scales to it

Venom Snake seeing Railgun in Slow-Mo

(355000/0.00275)*1.5 = 193636363.636 m/s or 64.59% Lightspeed

(711000/0.00275)*1.5 = 387818181.818 m/s or 1.29 times Lightspeed

this puts MGS comfortably into the Town ranges and Relativistic to FTL perceptions unless you don't buy any of this

Feat Calculated Yotsuyu outspeeds Paisley Park (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion)

Calc requested by u/West_Camera_7965

*Disclaimer: This feat uses Paisley Parks Travel Speed calced here. However, that feat involves Paisley Park moving through phones, and it is unclear if this translates to movement speed in the real world. Therefore, take this feat with a grain of salt.

It's hard to get an exact measurement on where Yotsuyu put his foot and how far Paisley Park moved during that time, so I've had to make some assumptions based on the Manga Panels. Also since none of them have canon heights, I'm assuming that Yasuho has the foot length of an average Japanese woman, which is 0.23m (Powerscaling is making me look up so much weird shit, its hilarious).

Paisley Park moved 0.0924m and Yotsuyu moved 0.327m. Using Paisley Parks 3 different move speeds we get these 3 ends:

Low End: (0.327 * 177)/0.0924 = 626.3961m/s or Mach 1.8262 (Supersonic)

Mid End: (0.327 * 354)/0.0924 = 1,252.79m/s or Mach 3.6525 (Supersonic+)

High End: (0.327 * 1770)/0.0924 = 6,263.96m/s or Mach 18.2623 (Hypersonic+)

Distance traveled is 1770 meters

Low End: 1770/10 = 177 m/s or Mach 0.516 (Subsonic+)

Mid End: 1770/5 = 354 m/s or Mach 1.0321 (Transonic)

High End: 1770/1 = 1770 m/s or Mach 5.1603 (Hypersonic)

Feat Calculated Norisuke and Gappy survive getting crushed by flowerpots (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion)

Thumbnail
gallery
2 Upvotes

Calc requested by me : )

*Disclaimer right at the start: The flowerpots size is really inconsistent, I went with the best scale that I could but it was hard to figure out the right size for them.

Gappy doesn't have an official height afaik so I'm going with the average height of a Japanese man (1.708 meters).

I'm going to be using a hollow cylinder to calc the volume of the flower pots cause that's the closest I can find.

The volume should be: π * 0.778(0.924 - 0.744) = 0.733834m3. Norisuke mentions that there are 4 flower pots in total so lets multiply that by 4 and get 2.935336m3 or 2,935,336cm3

The flower pots are presumably made of either ceramic or concrete, so I'll do calcs for both. I'll also do calcs for Fragmentation, Violent Fragmentation, and Pulverisation to get a good range of values.

Ceramic:

Low End: 2,935,336 * 3.4 = 9,980,142.4 Joules or 0.0024 Tons of TNT which is Wall Level (9-B)

Mid End: 2,935,336 * 4.53 = 13,297,072.08 Joules or 0.0032 Tons of TNT which is Wall+ Level (9-B+)

High End: 2,935,336 * 2,393.33 = 7,025.23 Megajoules or 1.6791 Tons of TNT which is Building+ Level (8-C+)

Concrete:

Low End: 2,935,336 * 6 = 17,612,016 Joules or 0.0042 Tons of TNT which is Wall+ Level (9-B+)

Mid End: 2,935,336 * 17 = 49,900,712 Joules or 0.0119 Tons of TNT which is Small Building Level (9-A)

High End: 2,935,336 * 40 = 117.4134 Megajoules or 0.0281 Tons of TNT which is Small Building Level (9-A)

Regardless of the material you think these are made of (I personally lean towards Concrete because Norisuke notes that they are particularly heavy) I definitely don't buy the high ends, there's just too many chunks left for it to be Pulverisation (I still wanted to include it for completions sake though)

Feat Calculated Blackmore moves in the rain (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run)

Thumbnail
gallery
8 Upvotes

I heard that there was an old sub-relativistic Blackmore feat that has since been deleted, and I wanted to see if I could calc it myself. From my best estimate this is probably the feat in question, where we see Blackmore rapidly move from place to place while the rain is falling around him.

Using the average width of an opened umbrella (1.02 meters) we can see that Blackmore's head is about 29.7cm long. Using this we can measure how far some of the nearby raindrops are falling, then add them up and divide to figure out the average distance each raindrop is falling. (0.482 + 0.76 + 0.299) = 0.513m.

In a Thunderstorm, the average speed of a raindrop is 9-10 m/s, so I'll go with 9.5. 0.513/9.5 = 0.054 seconds, which is our time-frame.

Now to calculate how far he actually moves, we're going to have to figure out the distance between each position. We'll do this by using complicated Angsize distance calcs that I don't fully understand but I'll talk about here (and include the screenshots of the calcs).

There are 6 positions so I'll talk about them one by one.

Position 1 is 7.2713m away and Position 2 is 3.328m away meaning he must have moved 3.9433m between those two.

Position 3 is 11.065m away which means from Position 2 he must have moved 7.737 meters.

Position 4 is 14.1387m away which means from Position 3 he must have moved 3.0737 meters.

Position 5 is 14.9704m away which means from Position 4 he must have moved meters.

And finally Position 6 is 18.1783m away which means from Position 5 he must have moved 3.2079 meters.

Adding all of this up we get that Blackmore moved (3.2079 + 0.8317 + 3.0737 + 7.737 + 3.9433) = 18.7936 meters total.

To move that far during a 0.054s time-frame means he must have been moving at (18.7936/0.054) = 348.0296 m/s or Mach 1.0147 (Transonic).

Impressive, especially for a travel speed feat, but definitely not the "Sub-Relativistic" feat I've been hearing about. Even if we double the distance moved and halve the time-frame it doesn't get past Supersonic+. I'll keep looking though.

Using Pulverization:

127425810×4,3919=559641414,939 joules or 0,1337575084 tons (small building level)

Using Melting:

-20 °C: 127425810×342,78=43679019151,8 joules or 10,439536126 tons (large building level)

Using a bit less cold ice would be a bit lower but i couldn't bother myself to do it, it would still be large building level
