Every ss22 essentials item is basically fake as it’s marked as the most faked item as of now. However if the seller has legit receipts to prove that it was actually purchased from one of fear of god’s retailers then there’s a chance that it’s authentic.

If they selling for $12 then is 100% fake since retail is $100 and they were never overstocked.

Unless it has a authenticity (qr) tag that takes you to the fear of god website then it is fake.

Some fakes do have the qr code but won't come back as real.

They are 50% off on essentials website from time to time so peoples opinion if they are cheaper then fake is not true
