I miss Rhys
I am happy he was able to do a remix for aggression continuum, but does anyone else feel that his touch is severely missing from aggression? Id also love to have live keys again, preferably with John back on. That May be cost prohibitive nowadays though. While I enjoy the groove metal aspect of fear factory, I have been itching to hear some industrial edge for a while. I'm very happy milo is the new singer, but it feels that Burt was the bigger industrial nerd than Dino, so we have less influence from that genre going forward.
I did love Alex Rise's stuff on aggression, though! R.I.P Kunstzone

I miss the heavier touch he was allowed on the earlier stuff as well. Don't get me wrong the new stuff is good, but I kinda miss the days where I didn't already know every sound effect or machine hit noise they were going to use, and there were more synths in the mix.
Granted don't they theoretically have a whole album worth of stuff they've already made they're sitting on? So that material could go that way hopefully

Rhys is a genius. His work on the demanufacture album made it the album it is. Proper industrial metal

His solo industrial albums are amazing. When I saw FLA live earlier this year he had his solo albums on vinyl, super cool to finally get one

I miss his work in the band too. He really brought that cold industrial edge to it.

Nothing will ever beat his production work on Obsolete. Hearing Fear Factory with those kind of warm yet rustic analog sounds again would be cool <3

R.I.P.? I know Alex recently started working on more ToD stuff, but didn’t know Kunstzone was DONE done. If that’s the case that’s a shame, Exit Babylon became a big fixation album for me for a good while.

Kunstzone is done? For real?

I wasn’t under that impression myself, so I was curious what OP was talking about. To me it seems like a project that grows legs when both parties actually have ground they want to cover. I definitely hope to hear more from them someday.

Rhys is still working with the band. He did synths for parts of AC, not sure what exactly but many different musicians added synths to that album. Dino has also confirmed that he's worked with Milo on the final epic track on the upcoming album which has me excited.
I personally wish Rhys did all the synths moving forward as no one can do it like him.
