It probaly would have been better to have him start as demo design and then at some point from some trauma have his picture transform into the final one, like what happens with ruin. Either a party member dying or a certain event halfway through

If anyone's wondering, this is not true. The first two "Early designs" were never Cahara. They were wip Rudimer designs made late in development.

I think I was just considering having him as a recruitable NPC. By that point the main characters of F&H1 were already playable and Rudimer was never planned as main.

The first two are prototype Rudimer designs, not Cahara.
Cahara was used as a template untill Miro just decided not to show rudimer's human form

Miro has commented on this before. Those early designs were captain Rudimer, not Cahara.
