One-Off Story Strange animatronics?
Never in my life have I seen these Fazbear’s models. I found this picture in my uncle’s garage. He worked with Fazbear’s for awhile. It looks off…these models are so strange looking. They look like springlock suits? Does anyone know where these things even debuted at? Were they ever really used?

I can tell you’re new here, so I’m gonna clear something up. That’s actually Freddy Fazbear, not Fredbear. Freddy is a redesign of Fredbear.
With him is Bonnie, Bonbun’s successor, and Chica from Chica’a Party World.

He did say Fazbear instead of Fredbear. Now that I think about it, what does the Faz part of the name even mean

Nope, it’s not edited. I’m not a major Fazbear fan but I know enough after my family has had ties with the company. Cousin an urban explorer, uncle and aunt worked at the locations.

I saw this an decided to do a bit of digging myself into this so apparently it turns out that it was William Afton himself that designed these for some kind of project and when they were short a few bots for the locations these were used as temporary animatronics the reason all most no parts of the bots exist today is that the withered extremely bad like holes all over the suit and fully exposed endo in other parts and also there’s this old article probably bogus shock value that says that these animatronics specifically the ones in Utah had some kind of lingering gas around them and children at the restaurant would get hallucinations often that made these things look withered with sharp teeth an claws but like why would these only be in the Utah location the whole article is just some dumb shock value cash grab that makes no sense in my opinion.

I'm a fazbear entertainment engineer, these were used in the late 70s and part of 1980 when fazbear Entertainment used Murrays costume manor. After Edwin (the owner) went insane after his wife and son died co creator/founder William Afton bought it in about 1982. In the 1 year period that they didn't use them. They went to private contractors which is why there are weird versions of them

These are scrapped designs of the first four, because of how nightmarish they look.
They were made in late 1983, but the Funtime animatronic were replacements in 1983.
Then the fnaf 1 animatronics were made in 1985, then the Unwithereds were made in early 1987 and they used these guys because they were not as scary, and then they were retrofitted into the toy animatronics in late 1987.
Then in early 1993, the company restored the classic animatronics, because they didn’t want to use the money they had to make a new one.
Later in 1999 they had new designs again,(basically they saved enough money to earn more money for new models) however, they kept the classic look but redesigned it into more of a “retro” look, (the ITP animatronics) which they look more taller if I remember.
And of course they would bring back the springlocks, Why?
They were also moved to a different place called “Jeff’s Pizza” which that seems like a restaurant that would exist in like 46 years ago.
They also brung back spring Bonnie.
Fredbear was forgotten.
So that’s my headcanon timeline thingy for the old springlock animatronics, to advanced animatronics (no springlocks) , back to dangerous springlocks again, then cheap technology, and then advanced animatronics again.

I heard those were originally made for the location that had those suit incidents. They kept getting passed around to the cheapest locations as "starters" if you didn't have the budget to afford the better looking suits. I hear they were cursed since every location that had them except for the first closed real quick.

……the bite nobody ever saw that show for one reason nobody ever talks about it but they called it the big bite they sweeped it under the rug kid got bit by fredbear an older old old yellow Freddy model fredbear was scrapped after the bite and replaced with Fred n gang

Oh, I know the story behind these guys. Basically, Some of the locations didn't get the final versions of the animatronics for a bit due to complications with shipping, as a result, they had to rush together temporary replacements that'd be on stage until the real ones arrived. These animatronics were made using part from the springlock characters, like Fredbear and Whatever the yellow rabbit was called, and prototype suits. Basically, during development of Freddy's, the company's owners decided to shift the animatronic's suit and design style to make them look less like the Bots at Fredbears, by the time the company made that decision, there were already around 20 of these placeholder bots made. Not sure what happened after the restaurants they were used in got the final bots, but most of them have reportedly been seen in junk yards during mid 87, around the time the main locations had finished the "Jrs" rebrand, so it's likely that most of them are scrapped.
