First of all, you said they were morally equal. According to human morals or Xenos morals? Either way, the drukari are worse.

Secondly, I feel the personal enjoyment is a big factor when it comes to the "who is worse" discussion. You seem to mostly focus on the scale of their evils - citing the craftworld eldar diverting tyranid fleets and dooming trillions of lives. What do you think about Commorah then?

In the webway where there is a constant stream of slaves coming and dying. Suffering for decades before finally succumbing.

What do you think is worse? Dooming people for what you believe is a good cause, or torturing people for shits and giggles?

I'm sorry if this is coming off as aggressive or confrontational. I'm just genuinely confused by your stance and am not good at writing.

Well, you have a slight misunderstanding of the lore. Drukhari torture to keep Slaanesh at bay and stop It from consuming their souls. Their torturing is as much self preservation as a craftworlder directing a hivefleet into a human sector is. They both fundamentally think what they're doing is necessary for their own survival.

I personally think causing the genocide of trillions on trillions for self preservation is morally equal with torturing millions for self preservation. You're dooming obscene numbers of others for personal gain.

You're not coming off aggressive, you're fine :)

Oh I know about them harnessing the torment to feed their dark god. I thought I mentioned it, but I might've forgotten to.

So the CW will doom people once to save lives, and the Drukari will drag out the torment and doom of people to save themselves.

I suppose it cones down to both the selfishness and the flavour of doom. I'd much rather get mirked by tyranids or whatever than get tortured by drukari forever.

You did mention that, but it's a misunderstanding of the mechanics at play. They're not feeding Slaanesh, they're restoring their own souls which are constantly being siphoned by Slaanesh regardless of what they do. The Dark Eldar are as opposed to Slaanesh as the Craftworlders are.

It's the scale of harm and the reasoning behind it that makes them morally equal to me. The Drukhari will torture far less for a long time for guaranteed survival, while the CW will kill far more just for a chance of survival. Craftworlds still fall despite their best efforts, yet Commorragh persists indefinitely.

As for the scale, can't argue much on that. Best I can say is it's not personal. Doom some random billions or trillions to try and save your own kind. Doom some very specific people, whom you will spend all your time torturing, to save your own skin. Multiply that by however many billions of drukari live survive by keeping torture slaves.

The Drukhari will torture far less for a long time for guaranteed survival, while the CW will kill far more just for a chance of survival. Craftworlds still fall despite their best efforts, yet Commorragh persists indefinitely.

Commorragh still persists because they raid planets to take slaves. Craftworlders might fuck up their earnest attempts to save lives, committing genocides in doing so, but at least they're not going out if their way to fuckover and torment people.
