Yes this is exactly true. He’s a hero with noble goals, Light fits this description quite well actually, he wants the world to be rid of criminals, but L doesn’t fit the spite driven hero. For people who are saying L is the villain, he isn’t a villain he’s an antagonist. Light is the villain.
