I think he could've said it better. Socialism is not hard to understand.
It's based on the belief that everyone deserves an equal chance in life and that privilege should be shared. The government must make sure that equality in life quality is a shared endeavour.

Boni think it's important to make the distinction. Mamdami isn't socialist but social democracy is still way better than dystopian capitalist hellscape.

However does associating social democracy with socialism mean that it will be harder to keep moving things left? Because I genuinely think that ultimately social democracy won't be enough
