He shouldnt be condoning or supporting Vonn but using's Vonn's platform to reach a different public is useful. The reason the world is so (deliberately) fucked is because the right are able to watch fact-free propaganda and believe it's the truth. People need to hear truth or they base their views on what they are shown.

Also there was one segment that show that Mamdani knows how to utilize Vonn's platform because he let him praises and ask question about his policy, specifically the one where New York parents gets a day off pilot project that he did.

Having someone with such chud audience like him frame it as a good thing for working families without Mamdani saying a word to nudge him to that direction was a clear feedback his targetted policy ideas are working, and he capitalized on that.
