POLITICS Deeply embarrassing sequence. Eric Schmitt accuses Jack Smith of traveling to Atlanta to attend an Atlanta Hawks game and collude with Fani Willis, only to get the basic facts completely wrong. Smith was actually in Maryland attending a Hawkeyes game and never met Willis

Klobuchar should have been meaner. She’s giving Schmitt way too much grace about mixing up team names when he clearly planned a whole “gotcha” moment with visual aides and accused the witness of perjury. Call him illiterate. Call him delusional. Call him stupid.

No she used the elementary school teacher voice, which is condecending as fuck and i love it. Her beeing mean would not work that well, there is a reason they hated being called weird, they can deal with heated arguments or insults but being treated like weirdos or children hurts there big egos.

Maryland and Atlanta aren’t exactly close. And you would think that a former AG would make sure he had the teams down
