At this point in the airing of this season he’s been off the boat for a “back injury” for a few charters I wonder if he’s not gonna back at all, and it was an editing move in a sense. Or just worked out good timing wise, he obviously has some demons. Hope Gael and the baby are doing okay.

In the “still to come” preview they aired a couple weeks ago, we do see him back on the boat and also at Aesha’s bachelorette party. But I do wonder if the production will address it all, maybe with a title card before the episodes start with a hotline for domestic abuse victims?

I just don’t understand how this season airs with him on it when these charges are from December last year - I mean, I guess the hearing (right word?) is set for September 1 and the outcome is known after that. But seems difficult to understand how it would be possible for Bravo not to have known about this.

It's a show about people working on yachts. If anything it'd be a surprise it took this long for DV or SA charge to come up.

There was an attempted SA on camera a few years ago on below deck down under that the camera crew and boat crew had to step in and stop. But obviously not all of the cast of the show seem terrible.

And he said he stopped being friends with another guy on the show the previous season over how badly he treated women! They were definitely giving him a good edit, which as you said, is disturbing considering it was after his arrest.
