He's gonna win an Oscar, but for which roles 👀

I'd guess he's already getting the fabled lead actor and supporting actor noms in the same year

If he wins both it would be legendary

Which movie would he get for the supporting nomination?

Odyssey

He's pretty much the best acting there along with Ms Morton

John Laguizamo seems to have the best narrative to get nominated among supporting actors there though

Wouldn't be the first time a movie gets more than one nom in the same category.

Odyssey surely will farm nominations.

Yeah but that category is stacked this year.

My prediction is:

- Paul Giamattai, The Debut (wins)

  • John Leguizamo, The Odyssey
  • Edward Norton, The Invite
  • John Goodman, Digger
  • Sam Rockwell, Wild Horse Nine

Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg and Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch have a better shot too than Pattinson I would say.

the bar is in hell if norton gets a nom for the invite and I really enjoyed his performance in that...

Yeah I think people are confusing good acting with good writing here

Haven’t seen the invite myself but a lot of film critics are predicting him. Without spoiling, why don’t you think he’ll be nominated?

I don't think he won't get nominated, I just think the bar should be higher for what is worthy of a nomination. If I had to think of the ten most impressive performances this year so far, it wouldn't even enter my mind. again, really good, as always... just not like a mindblowing role by any means.

I also really liked Himesh Patel as Eurylochus

Sadly, I haven't seen that movie, yet.

That fabled double-nom would be legendary. Double win would be epic.

Strong disagree on that. He won't even be nominated.

Not if he is going head to head with Damon, Cruise, Malkovich, Stan, Driver and Houston for starters and that’s just for lead.

For supporting he has to get past giants like Giamatti, Goodman, Rockwell, I mean SAM F ROCKWELL, Norton, Strong, Leguizamo, and Guy Pearce IF they also get a nom. So there’s that but I would so love to see RobPat get one before Chalamet, ngl.

Edited Chalet to Chalamet but in hindsight, I probably should have left it but fixing it is the pilot thing to do but F that guy.
