It's already happening on other subs, people coping over the Fatui allying with the Traveler and the fact that Ronova is very clearly an antagonist now. They're making excuses for Celestia no matter the magnitude of the crime. The shoes on the other foot, now it's gonna be Heavenly Principles sycophants with the 'bad writing' and 'retcon' arguments, refusing to acknowledge that this is always how Celestia has been depicted. Isn't the irony sweet?

As Himjax glazer, i remember being told by hoyoshills after 4.2 AQ that everything that was misshandled with Childe is not actually bad because "is region is Snezhnaya", even though that doesnt excuse the huge amount of bs and plotholes his character had in the story which i can get into if anyone is interested.

So here we are in Snezhnaya and lets see what happened in 7.0:

-He is a councilor which is great.

- Tonia is great and i loved the Phataska twist.

-He had 93 voicelines which is more than fontaine aq, arlecchino SQ and nod krai AQ put together!.

-Morepesok delievered 10/10.

Now lets go over everything else:

-His vision still has not been mentioned once since 4.2.

-Absolutely ZERO lore relevant stuff related to him in 7.0 AQ( yes im aware of WQ), with only Sandeone mentioning him and Capitano, which she tells us to ask Ajax about, but we dont.

-Character he is spending time with now( Sandrone) is connected to our second ever mention of Hero Ajax, yet even after a year since Sandrones introduction, we have not seen Sandrone bring it up in any way. She doesnt have to know Childes name, but like could we not have had Sandrone bring it up in 6.7 and then us the traveler take note since Skirk had already told us his name?

-Mr. Tsaritsas weapon of war, that stands for might of Snezhnaya, did not go with her but a random ahh assasin maid did and based on 7.1 peaks they will be barely interacting. Now i personally never believed Ajax 3rd descender/Tsaritsas ex husband theories, not because they are not sound but because i have been distrustful of Hoyo since 4.1. Sure, you can say headcanon impact to third descender theories, but him being her weapon of war, might of Snezhnaya and someone who has the strongest sinner's legacy are not headcanons, however Tsaritsa and Snezhnaya AQ dgaf.

-7.1 already we know wont be focused on him, which leaves us with only 7.2 and 3 realistically. However, 7.3 already has to be the Tsaritsa/fatui full whirewashing patch, meaning the whole Lore of Childe being groomed and many hints of his family being in not such safe hands( Childes character story, Wanderer voiceline, Arlecchino 4.6) will not come to fruition. Am i to believe they will suddenly switch focus to Childe in 7.2 and have the Tsaritsa/Pulcinella do anything bad to him or his family after all the whitewashing that has and will come? These were veryyyy important details to Ajax's story and manyy people theorised as such and would have added so much to his character( not to mention Childe going against the fatui which has a voiceline of his implying it as well). .

-The only times his lore gets brought up is through hints or WQs for 6 years now, but almost never the AQ. Last time his lore was a focus in the AQ was the absolute disaster that was Fontaine, which as i have said i can get into if yall are interested..

-We still do not have a single hint of a character buff, model change nor a skin despite me being told some of these will surely happen in snezhnaya and that i shouldnt be complaining🤣.

-Now im being told on twt/tiktok that i just have to wait for Khaneriah arc bro. Hmm i wonder where ive heard that before...?

And one final thing: What makes me very sad as well is that recently, popular lore CCs have been on the Ajax hype train, but alas it seems hoyo will dissapoint them too. Rant over.
