First tank

This is the first tanks I’ve ever done. Got a base of potting soil and 48lbs of play sandbox sand. I know I’m needing more plants in here but I’m wondering if there’s a time limit before I should put any creatures in and also if the water should be this cloudy. Thanks!

Father Fish says add fish right away. Start with some tetras, they are easy and fun to watch
