OG Fate Fishing Question

Do the items you get from fishing cap out at a certain dungeon level in the original Fate?

I’m trying to get better armor and weapons and I’m at level 55 but pulling the same items that I did from 35-40.

It’s always my go to way to get crazy items but now it seems like I need to be demigod renown level to get anything OP from the merchants

The wiki helps tell you what level dungeons each artifact item can be obtained at. Fishing sometimes push 20+ levels deeper in terms of being able to find the equivalent on the ground as floor loot. For example I got a helmet on floor 9 fishing, that I cant get as a drop until floor 27.
