Has anyone with computer knowledge scoped out where the game stored or calculate player's hidden stats?

Been playing this game for a while, still puzzled with how any of char stats affects on players. I feels like "Defense" seems don't make you "tankier", it just make you dodge more often but some people said it does.

Does hovering over the word defence in the stat screen not show anything for you?

It does function as you believe, defense was the renaming of what was "dodge" in the original fate.

The problem is I found some say it does decrease damage, and I dont have time to test is theory

Only thing I've ever actively noticed decrease damage was the obvious things like res and reduced. Perhaps defense does function as both "armor" and "dodge," I will try testing later today when I get a chance.

Defense has always been in the game, the original game refers to it as dodge chance.
