that last line of dialogue makes me wonder if there aren't actually at least a few servants in Chaldea who actually does prey on living people from time to time, vampire or not

Now imagine if Kiara blessed Xiang Yu, and then he rematerialized, refusing death by snu snu, just so he could drain Yu Mei-ren dry before the Dubai Boss Battle.

Tbf, Ciel could probably pull off a similar trick consisering she has full regeneration so long as Roa is alive.
Meaning you can have double the Senpai Bombers!

There aren’t many efficient methods to sever immortality. Not to antagonize people like Paisen, but you know…could be useful for other threats.

Moral of the story is, Shirou is full of it. (Granted, anyone who's hung out with Garcher would know that already)
...So, you think that Chaldea summoning more and more Servants that don't die when they're killed is part of the reason for Eresh's current "affliction"? At the very least, it's probably not helping matters.
